Sercel/Opseis®
Eagle System
Radio-Frequency Telemetry System
Acquisition of seismic data via our Radio-Frequency (RF) telemetry
system can be accomplished in virtually all uncharted transition
zones, rivers, lakes, swamps, inaccessible terrain, desserts
and man-made barriers such as highways and cities. Minimal
impact to the environment makes utilization of this system
attractive.
Cable-less Seismic Acquisition
RF
telemetry enables surveys to be conducted over old fields
or congested urban areas where surface access is limited.
Remote units called 'SARs' or Seismic Acquisition Remote Units,
are quickly set up, and if needed, repositioned without the
need for extra cables. Data is transmitted in "real time"
and monitored as it comes in to the central recording system.
Where access or terrain are issues, wireless telemetry utilizing
our Sercel/Opseis® Eagle system, can provide greater flexibility
for your project. |

Seismic
Acquisition Remotes (SAR) Multiple
SAR units are the first surface mount technology giving it
the ability to gather data from any terrain through any obstacle.
• These lightweight SAR units eliminate need for troublesome
cables
• World's best high resolution 24 bit seismic data-gathering
system
• Real time technology - data from cable telemetry
• Rough terrain flexibility - with RF telemetry
• Minimal environmental impact
Flexibility & 24-Bit High Resolution
The Central Recording Station features the latest in micro
processor technology for collecting digital data transmitted
on a dependable VHF radio link and recording high resolution
24-bit seismic data. Gathering data from four frequencies
at a time, this station performs all of the exploration measurements
needed from just one on-site system.
TGC's crews have great flexibility in energy sources and placement
of Seismic Acquisition Remote Units (SARs) in the field. These
time-saving capabilities provide a significant advantage for
2-D or complex 3-D spread configurations. |
